Tricky Conditions in the Dolomites
After crossing Monte Cevedale glacier into Italy's Trentino-Alto-Adige province, Marie and Nil have made it to the Dolomites.
The pair had long wanted to trek the region but were temporarily held up by a storm. The roads were closed and the electricity went down, forcing Marie and Nil to wait out the weather in the small town of Fomi di Sopra. Once the weather improved they were able to begin a foggy climb around the mountain of Piz Boe. The conditions made for a tricky day and they were forced to alter their route on the fly to avoid a 650ft vertical drop!
On November 5 they celebrated their “trailversary”, marking 9 months of their expedition. They've already covered 3,100 miles and 5 countries, with 12 guests joining, for varying lengths of time.
