Rawles Struggles in Bolivian Reserve of Flamingos
Date: December 03, 2017
Approximate GPS Location: (-22.46, -68.43)
Kate crossed the famous salt flats of Uyuni, Bolivia and then headed into the Eduardo Alvaroa National Reserve, southwestern Bolivia). Cycling there was really a struggle with thick gravel, high altitude, headwinds, ruts and cold nights. She did manage, however, to see colorful lakes, flamingos, vicuna (a type of llama), and viscacha (a type of rabbit). She now seems to have crossed into Chile.
