America Within Sight
The Canadian North to South team has continued to make excellent progress since switching from canoes to bicycles.
By October 14 they had put Canada’s prairies behind them and were about to leave the province of Manitoba.
A few days later, on October 23, they posted that they had passed a huge milestone: “At the time of our departure in Nunavut in March, we were much closer to Russia than to the United States. A few days ago, we were passing through the small town of Fort Frances, Ontario…only one river separated us from our southern neighbor.”
The next two weeks will take them even further south, towards their endpoint in Point Pelee National Park, near Canada’s southernmost point.
