Swimming “Spooky” Flooded Forests
Date: March 01, 2018
Approximate GPS Location: (4.31°S, 66.53°W)
Casey swam an 11-mile "perilous" swim over "spooky" flooded forests on the Rio Jurua. It's the rainy/flooding season so he has been sleeping in hammocks above water. He says he's spotted snakes, caiman (Amazonian alligators) and a huge amount of insects.
