Humble Tuk-Tuk To Attempt Australia’s Highest Mountain

On November 24th the SolarTuk set off from Melbourne. So far the trip has been marked by pleasant scenic rides through the countryside among kangaroos and cockatoos, punctuated by stops to meet with communities and companies involved in renewable and sustainable energy.

Other stops consisted of interviews with news agencies and, in the town of Beechworth, the tuk-tuk joined 3000+ cyclists participating in The Great Victorian Bike Ride.

Latest reports are that the tuk-tuk is about to attempt the road that climbs Australia's highest mountain, Mt. Kosciuszko.
