After Long Silence, A Sudden 800 Miles Down Australia’s Coast

Date: May 12, 2018
Approximate GPS Location: (33.87°S, 151.20°E)

Grant 'Axe' Rawlinson has cycled another 800 miles down the east coast of Australia in his bid to travel by human power from Singapore to New Zealand. Why this recent additional 800 miles down the coast? He is repositioning his launch port for crossing the Tasman sea from Coff's Harbor, in New South Wales, to a location somewhere on Australia's southeast coast.

In his last attempt to cross the Tasman Sea he faced great difficulty and injury. He says he will attempt the row "later this year".
